An Active Shooter is defined as one or more suspects who participate in an ongoing, random, or systematic shooting spree. The objective of an Active Shooter is mass murder, rather than other criminal conduct such as robbery, hostage taking, etc.

This course will provide information on the history, objectives, and goals of active shooters. The course will then transition to how to respond using the run, hide, fight methodology should you find yourself in an active shooter or active threat situation.

This course uses a combination of presentation, exercises, and knowledge assessments to deliver and reinforce concepts.
