Description
This course contains approximately 1 1/2 hours worth of content. Lessons are organized into micro learning sessions, most of which are less than 5 minutes in duration. An Active Shooter is defined as one or more suspects who participate in an ongoing, random, or systematic shooting spree. The objective of an Active Shooter is mass murder, rather than other criminal conduct such as robbery, hostage taking, etc. This course will provide information about the history, objective, and goals of an active shooter. The course will then transition into how to respond utilizing the run, hide, fight methodology, should you find yourself in an active shooter or active threat situation. This course uses a combination of presentation, exercises, and knowledge assessments to delivery and reinforce concepts.
